About Road and Directional Signs

Road and directional signs are outdoor boards that bring drivers and pedestrians to a business or to the right department within it. Royal Reklam manufactures galvanised-post roadside signs faced with retroreflective film, plus indoor wayfinding sets, in Samsun. Average lead time including survey, fabrication and installation is 10–15 working days.

Some of the customers a business loses are lost not to price or product but simply because the place could not be found. A driver who misses the turning does not come back; a visitor who cannot tell which block you are in gives up rather than picking up the phone. Directional signage is the cheapest way to close that quiet loss.

We treat wayfinding as a system rather than a single board. From the first roadside sign to the car park entrance and on to floor and door numbers, the same typography, colour and arrow language is used, so visitors always know where they are in the sequence.

Outdoor boards work under wind load and moisture. We fabricate posts from galvanised steel with an electrostatic powder-coat finish, and face boards in retroreflective film so they still read on unlit roads. The aim is that you fit the sign once and forget it for years.

What Determines the Price?

  • Board size and total number of signs
  • Reflective film class — better night readability costs more in material
  • Post height and the section of the supporting structure
  • Whether a concrete foundation is needed, and ground conditions
  • Installation location and plant access
  • Highways authority or council permit process

Common questions

It depends on where the sign stands. Signs within the business's own plot normally need only council advertising consent, while boards inside the highway boundary require permission from the highways authority. We establish which body applies during the survey and prepare the application file.
